PEN JUST CRIES AWAY

So while i was in DC performing at a Prince Tribute Concert, Dub Ellington came up with the brilliant idea of shooting a video in the dressing room. Dude is the most creative person i know. If you dont know the dude, chk out his music, and his videos on youtube.com/dubell202. so i present a fun and quick enjoyable demonstration of art.. Pen Just Cries Away.

    The black and white minimalist approach makes this a pleasurable visual addition to an already incredible song.

    i love it...the fact that you just came up with it on a whim is so great!!! the first time i heard this song on myspace i fell in love and knew even more that i had to own that cd... ...thanx!!! keep doin' it!

    Great video!! I love the simplicity of it, but then again, that's your M-O... you allow your music to present the message. No need for distraction in the video to keep the audience from realizing the song isn't saying much!

    I've been a fan for a while. I don't know if you remember me but I ordered your cd based on a song that I fell in love with, but ordered the wrong cd and you corrected the problem and sent me the right one. I know I'm one of millions but it's little actions like those that make a big impact. I'm a writer myself, so I appreciate quality and you deliver every time!

    Mr Roberson please continue to bless my ears and soul with your beautiful musical capabilities! My boyfriend is from the East Coast (Maryland) and he put me on some of your music about a year and a half ago (we always alert each other of substantial artists) and since then I've been hooked. I'm a Dallas native and I am just wondering when are you going to visit the DFW area again?! You came to Dallas around Fall of last year I believe, but I was unable to see you live because I attend school at the University of Oklahoma....would it even be possible for you to attend a venue in Oklahoma?

    Well I'm a fan and I just wanted to show you love and support. At times it probably seems like your fan base is small and your music isn't reaching many, but trust me--it is! Loved the video...very creative and if you need a promoter out in the Oklahoma/Dallas area...I got ya, just let me know....lol...God bless and sorry for the winded comment...

    This song is SO fabulous. I love it. Deepest melancholy, truest love, angst, all these beautiful nerve endings. My iTunes is CONFUSED because it plays Pen Just Cries, Only For You & Def Ears so much. Be blessed.
