Hidden Treasures

vault1

Many don't know there was a predecessor to Vault 1.5, it was the Vault 1.0.

Only a limited number of CD's were pressed. It wasn't intended to be sold in volumes.

Heard it has been seen on eBay for up to $100!

Several of the songs were sold for other singers, including "Rebound" and "Hold On".

On the live DVD album the song "When Love Calls" comes from Vault 1.0 in which James Yancey aka J-Dilla played the drums.

The "Muji" Just Cries Away

One of the keys to creating anything; song, sketch, idea; is having that perfect pen and pad handy at all times. MUJI makes some of the best paper and pens in the world! For those who aren’t familiar with their products, let’s go to school real quick:

Over the last 20 years, they have developed a worldwide following with a guiding philosophy that emphasizes innovative and simple materials, processes, and packaging. The resulting products are streamlined, environmentally friendly, and beautiful in their simplicity. MUJI is not only an internationally renowned company, but for many people is a way of life.

Now, the next question is Where Can I get some MUJI?

Glad you asked- http://www.momastore.org/museum/moma/CategoryDisplay_10451_10001_11627_11458_-1_shop_

Artist vs Producer

KryptoNATE's

Photobucket

In case you guys missed the NBA All Star Dunk contest, in a stunning turn of events, Nate Robinson of the New York Knicks defeated Dwight Howard to take back his Slam Dunk crown. After his first round dunks, he was escorted back to the locker room as we all thought perhaps he was injured. He then returned wearing a green shirt which read Kryptonate. The name ties into the whole Superman theme that Dwight Howard has brought along to the Dunk Contest. As we all know, Superman’s one weakness is Kryptonite.

The shoes are called the Nike Foamposite Lite-KRYPTONATE edition.

Something for Knick fans to be proud of.

MUSIC FAN FIRST!

Ladies and gentlemen, to promote my upcoming album and love for music in general, we will be posting videos daily of some of our favorite artists. Some you may be familiar with, some you won't be, but take a look and listen and enjoy. We are starting with one of my favorite artists and voices of all time, Terence Trent D'arby. His album "Vibrator" is one of the most influential albums to my career. He still does incredible music and now goes by the name "SANANDA MAITREYA." Enjoy this incredible live performance of one of my favorite songs by him, "Holding On To You."

Before I was a singer, artist, songwriter.....I was a MUSIC FAN FIRST
