My boy DJ Juddah shot this during my last concert in Dallas. We had a great night and this interview was done a couple hours before we hit the stage. Don't be surprised if there is a part two of this. I remember us covering a lot.

Cool interview! 'Preciate the love shown to my hometown and I enjoyed hearing you talk about Fred Hammond. He's always been one of my favorite gospel artists and I like hearing about people's inspirations. I hope there is a part 2 coming!

ReplyDeleteManyun don't pull a Steve Harvey and start crying in part 2... You wont live it down... lol
ReplyDeleteand Fred Hammond is the manyun... I remember an uncle of mine who living in Jersey during the time stopping through to see us one year... I think I was in the 11th grade but he had the "On The Winning Side" album... Not only did I learn every song with every riff but I did the same thing with them that I did when I first heard "She Couldn't Hear Me"... I searched out all there music. I had never seen a unit of voices that where every member was THAT strong...
