Centric Premieres New Video!!!

My video for "Dealing" starring Ms. Lalah Hathaway will premiere tomorrow morning on the Centric network (the former BETJ.) The video was shot by Impakt Studios (Chris & Blaq).

Here are the times the video will air for sure in the next week during the Christmas holiday. It may air at other times also. It will go into full rotation after the new year.

FULL CRATE & MAR - "CONVERSATIONS WITH HER"

This year i had the opportunity to meet Full Crate and Mar, a producer and a songwriter from Amsterdam. First online when their video was tweeted to me. I enjoyed it so much that i ended up writing and singing to their track. During my overseas tour we were able to meet face to face and hang out. Good guys and longtime friends, Full Crate and Mar have been creating music together for quite some time. Well they are releasing some of those creations with an EP entitled, "Conversations With Her." It comes out Jan 8th digitally and Jan 15th by way of vinyl. The song we did will be on this record as well. So when and if you get a chance check them out.

I am on cloud nine after hearing that last night i was nominated for a grammy for "A Tale Of Two" off of my new album, Music Fan First. I found this story very touching. On behalf of myself and all the members of the BES family i would like to thank every solider past and present for your dedication to keep our homes protected. E


John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her. She was cared for in John's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing.

He is a real Star of the war, and represents what America is trying to do. He’s not only a wonderful soldier, but also a wonderful Daddy role model!!!!

This, my friends, is worth sharing. Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news. Please keep this going. Nothing will happen if you don't, but the American public needs to see pictures like this and needs to realize that what we're doing over there is making a difference. Even if it is just one little girl at a time.

RIP Mr. Ben from Ben's Chili Bowl

While soundchecking for my show tonight at the Jazz Cafe, I received some

disheartening news. Mr Ben from Ben's Chili Bowl passed away. Ben's Chili

Bowl has been my favorite place to eat in DC for many years now. Not only

can I not leave the district without a couple of turkey burgers in my belly, for

years now they have played my music and promoted my shows.

Mr Ben's son as well as many of the workers and I have become good friends. If you have my dvd you've seen the storefront during the intro. We put it there because when I think of

the things I love about DC, Ben's Chili Bowl is one of the things that come to

mind.

So I just want to personally thank Mr. Ben for bringing so much joy to so many

people. And our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
